Daniel OK Carter, 61, of Bear Lake Twp, MI, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 9, 2021.
Daniel was born to Lyle and Lois (Wittig) Carter on April 22, 1959 in Alma, MI. Daniel was an avid outdoorsman which included activities like hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Daniel is survived by daughters, Kristin (Dean) Tebo of Onaway, MI, Karinne (Ward) Rauch of Cheboygan, MI, and Kelly Jo Carter of Peoria, AZ; grandchildren, Landon, Brayden, Lily, Ryder, Alia, and Anna; and siblings, Tom (Camille) Carter, Amy Sanchez, Angie (Maria Kotsiopoulou) Carter, and Linda Carter. Daniel is preceded in death by his mother Lois Carter, father Lyle Carter, and his infant son Nathan Carter.
A private family celebration of Daniel’s life will be scheduled for a later date. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge, MI.
