Sharon Kay Gugin, age 77, of Roscommon, died on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at The Lighthouse at Roscommon.
Sharon was born Wednesday, May 20, 1942, the daughter of Lowell and Lillian (Coryell) Newberry.
Sharon will be remembered for being a game buff. She enjoyed bingo, board games, cribbage, Yahtzee. She liked putting puzzles together and reading books quite frequently. Sharon was crazy about Elvis.
Sharon will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her sons: Howard (April) Gugin of Manton, Michigan and Jimi Gugin of, “you guys know”; grandchildren: Chris, Natasha, Howie; great-grandchildren: Angelica, Toph, Cecil, Chloe, Charley, Aubrey, Brooklynn; brother Walter Newberry; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Gugin, her sons Johnny and Cecil Gugin.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, January 10, 2020 for a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with an hour of visitation prior to the Funeral at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Sharon’s name to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
