Kathleen Sharon Bolger, 59, of Harrison

Kathleen Sharon Bolger, 59, of   Harrison passed away on Saturday September 14, 2019 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland.

Kathleen was born on March 7, 1960 in Ferndale, Michigan to Frank and Betty (McCauley) Bolger. She grew up in the Detroit area before moving to Houghton Lake where she graduated from Houghton Lake Community Schools.  Kathy worked as a cashier for Walmart for many years.   She was a former member of the Moose where she enjoyed playing pool until her health would not allow her to go anymore.  Kathy worked with water paints, making her family several paintings. She also liked bowling in her younger days. Kathy’s true passion was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and her cherished dogs.

Surviving Ms. Bolger are her loving significant other, of the past 30 years, Michael “Skip” Neorr of Harrison; daughter, Shannon Tyll of Memphis; three sons, Bobby Tyll of Chesterfield, Frank (Christina) Tyll of St. Clair Shores, and Billie Tyll of Pontiac; fourteen grandchildren; brother, Norm Vanness of Clarkston, WA; two sisters, Dianne (Bill) Ries of Madison Heights, and Colleen (Gary) Bolger-Colwell of Houghton Lake; several nieces and nephews.  Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned for a later date for Kathleen Sharon Bolger. Interment will be in Roscommon Twp. Cemetery.   Memorial contributions in memory of Kathleen are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
