Robert Ernest Klintworth, Jr., age 77, of Higgins Lake, died on June 15, 2019, at home in the presence and comfort of his family.
Bob was born July 10, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Robert and Vinselle (Bartlett) Klintworth. Bob married Carol Spengler on September 7, 1963 in South Bend, Indiana. Bob worked for the family business, Phoenix Wire Cloth in Troy, Michigan. He retired in May of 1997. He worked with his son Brad at DA Real Estate for a short while after retirement.
Bob enjoyed the weather. He loved to sail, having the pleasure of doing this in the Caribbean.
Bob will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol;
daughter Kim (Jim, deceased) Clark of Waterford, Michigan; son Brad (Miriam) Klintworth of Bloomfield, Michigan;
six grandchildren: Jack, Troy, David, Ashley, Brennan, Connor; sister Christine Unbehaun of Charlevoix, Michigan; and a host of friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents.
Bob’s family will have a Memorial Service at Brad’s home from 12 Noon to 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Brad’s address is: 2845 Berkshire Drive, Bloomfield, Michigan 48301.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Bob’s name to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
