Joanne ‘Jody’ A. McCutcheon

Joanne ‘Jody’ A. McCutcheon, 74, of Roscommon died June 1, 2018 at home.

Jody was born in St. Clair Shores April 27, 1944 to Leo Clyde and Joan (Deldin) Williams. She married Thomas P. McCutchion April 16, 1964 in Roscommon.

Jody resided in Roscommon since 1960, West Branch for a year, coming from St. Clair Shores.

Jody was the librarian at Roscommon Middle School from 1985 to 2009. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Roscommon.

Jody was a past member of the Roscommon Jaycettes, served on the board of Friends of the Library, a Girl Scout leader and was a founding member of the Roscommon Co-op Nursery. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and reading.

Surviving are her husband, Tom; three children: Steve (Colleen) McCutcheon of Roscommon, Gary (Marlo) McCutcheon of Williamston and Shari (Brian) Schrader of Lafayette, IN; six grandchildren, Chris (Jamie) Kimball, Max and Miller McCutcheon, Luke, Paul and Drew Schrader; and two brothers, Raymond (Joanna) Williams of Waterford and Albert (Shirley) Williams of St. Clair Shores.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Richard, Arthur, Harold and Leo Williams and four sisters, Carmel Maitland, Mary Laws, Leota Laws and Jeaneane Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Roscommon with Rev. Father Richard Schaeffer officiating. Burial will be in Gerrish Twp. Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Roscommon Area District Library, P.O. Box 311, Roscommon, MI 48653.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
