Delores Anna Cox of Roscommon

Delores Anna Cox, 85, of Roscommon passed away Dec. 18, 2017 at Crawford Continuing Care Center, Grayling.

Delores was born in Elkton Dec. 11, 1932 to Albert H. Taylor and Anna (Miller) Taylor.

She resided in Roscommon since 1995, Lansing from 1982 to 1995; Roscommon from 1976 to 1982.

She married Donald E. Cox Sept. 5, 1953 in Bad Axe.

Delores was a Homemaker. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church of the North, Roscommon. She enjoyed cards and golf.

Surviving are her husband, Don; two children, Dennis (Frances) Cox of Sierra Vista, AZ and Duane (Kristen) Cox of Empire; and two grandchildren,: Brandon and Nichole Cox of Empire.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diana Beckman; sister, Uleta Young; and an infant brother.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at Walsh Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Wednesday at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until services at 11 AM. Burial will be on Thursday Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church of the North, Roscommon Dec. 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Noggle officiating. Burial will be at Delta Center Cemetery, Delta Twp.

Memorial donations may be made to the church.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, is serving the family.
