Francis Alvin Kirk of Falmouth

Francis Alvin Kirk, 78, of Falmouth passed away on Friday October 27, 2017 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.

Francis was born on August 28, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to Dempsie and Helen (Gill) Kirk. He grew up and graduated from high school in the Flint area. Francis worked as a Truck Driver for many Flint area trucking companies. He moved from Otisville to his home on the Muskegon River over 20 years ago. Francis was a member of the Houghton Lake Moose Lodge and enjoyed riding and training horses in his younger years, fishing, hunting, and especially loved playing pool and belonged to several pool leagues.

Surviving are his two sons, Adam Kirk of White Lake, and Aaron (Daretha) Kirk of Ortonville; four grandchildren; and brother, Jack Kirk of Cadillac. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Gathering will be held for Francis Alvin Kirk at the Houghton Lake Moose Lodge, 100 James Road, Houghton Lake at 1:00 pm Saturday November 4, 2017. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
