Harry David Thimm of Prudenville

Harry David Thimm, 66, passed away April 16, 2016 at his Prudenville home.

He was born on August 19, 1949 in Mt. Clemens to Joseph and Theresa (Klebba) Thimm. He grew up in the Armada area moving to Houghton Lake more than 40 years ago. He was employed as a golf cart mechanic for Pineview Golf Course for the past several years.

Mr. Thimm was a member of the Houghton Lake Moose, enjoyed riding motorcycle with his friends, and was an outdoorsman. He was an avid supporter and contributor to the Children’s Kidney Dialysis Fund.

Surviving are his mo0ther, Theresa Lucluyse of Prudenville; two nieces, Heather Thimm-Hankins of Ypsilanti, and Michelle Thimm of Clinton Twp.; two cousins, Susan Holmes of Wales, and David Bauman of PA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Thimm, and two brothers, Joseph and Mark.

Memorial services will be conducted at the Houghton Lake Moose Lodge. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Richland.

Memorial contributions in memory of Harry are asked to be directed to the Kidney Foundation of Michigan, Children’s Dialysis Care, 1169 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
