WEST BRANCH – Ogemaw Farm Bureau held its First Annual Barn Dance on March 12, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in West Branch. With 220 people in attendance, Bob Bennett, of West Branch, said it was a success.
The dance was a wonderful family event, not only for farmers, but the local community as well. An activity table was set up for children, with farm animals and toy tractors, and local businesses donated door prizes. A home cooked dinner of pulled pork and fried chicken made sure that no one left hungry.
