Chili Cook Off keeps visitors warm in Rose City

ROSE CITY – West Branch resident Jodie Pizzala is all smiles after winning first prize in the Rose City Chili Cook Off in the town’ park on March 5. ‘We need more competitionGǪbring it!’ she said. ‘I was seriously impressed with how this event was set up. Plenty of food, plenty of warmth, and so many very nice people. I felt like I was hanging out with family.’ Pizzala said at least 125 people attended the event. ‘Lots of kids sledding!’ she added.
