Restoration Advisory Board Public Meeting- Public Notice
Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center (JMTC) is announcing a meeting of the Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) to be held January 17, 2023, 6:00-7:30 PM.
What is the RAB?
The RAB is an advisory group which meets on a regular basis to discuss environmental assessment and restoration activities at Camp Grayling. Community involvement is encouraged as RAB members, and residents who are not members of the RAB, may attend the RAB meetings. All RAB meetings are open to the public. The RAB enables residents interested in the Camp Grayling JMTC activities to share their questions, concerns, and ideas, and exchange information with representatives of regulatory agencies, Camp Grayling JMTC, and the community.
Agenda
The agenda for this meeting will include a discussion with the community about recent events pertaining to Camp Grayling and the ongoing PFAS investigations. This meeting will address PFAS issues only and not Camp Grayling’s ongoing request to access Michigan Department of Natural Resources land. National Guard Bureau, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will be present to speak with the RAB and members of the public regarding PFAS-related issues.
