End hunger retail event

GRAYLING – The Spartan Nash Foundation and Family Fare donated $1,225 to the Crawford County Community Help Center Food Pantry on December 5.

Between Oct. 24 and Nov. 4 shoppers at Family Fare were asked to make a donation of $1, $5, or $10 at the checkout to help support a local food pantry. The Grayling Family Fare supported the Christian Help Center Food Pantry raising $1.225 to help fight hunger.

The program encompassed eight states and the participating stores raised $278,105 for more than 100 of their local food pantries and food banks.
