ROSCOMMON – At a special meeting held on Sept. 5, 2018, the COOR ISD Board of Education unanimously voted to begin contract negotiations with Shawn Petri to become the agency’s next Superintendent of Schools. Preceding the Board’s decision, two final interviews were held that included a time for staff to interact with both candidates.
“We are very excited about the prospect of Mr. Petri leading our organization,” Board President Bob Balsley said.
Mr. Petri currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Career and Technical Education at Tuscola Intermediate School District. It is anticipated that Mr. Petri could begin as soon as October 1, replacing current Superintendent Greg Bush who is retiring on September 30.
