RANGE FIRING SCHEDULE FOR THE PERIOD OF August 19th – 25th, 2018
GRAYLING, Mich. – During this time period there are units scheduled to train here at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center. Northern Strike 2018 training event will be winding down and Michigan Consolidated AT is starting. Residents near the Camp Grayling campus may hear noise from our small arms ranges and may continue to experience military traffic due to these events.
A little further north at Camp Grayling’ Multi-Purpose Range Complex also known as the Range 30 complex, located north of North Down River Road, east of Jones Lake Road, south of County Road 612 and west of Bald Hill Truck Trail we will have units on these ranges. Some roads and trails west of Wakeley Bridge road, to include; Bucks East-West Truck Trail from Jones Lake Road to Wakeley Bridge Road, Ketchum truck Trail from Bucks East-West to North Down River Road, and Stephen Bridge Road from County Road 612 to North Down River Road will be closed to civilian traffic. Please respect all closed gates and do not enter these areas for your safety. The gates may be open the first part of the week, the gates could be closed. A gate that was open one day, may be closed the next day, so please if you come up to a closed gate, please do not enter and confirm with us before you travel around any closed off training area.
Camp Grayling’ Range 40 Complex, also known as the Air to Ground range, which is located north of County Road 612, east of Guthrie Lake, south of Old State Road 618 and west of County Road F97 (Twin Bridge Road) will have minimal fixed wing aircraft training during this time period. Residents in and around this area may see or hear these aircraft.
