Prudenville man arrested on meth charges

PRUDENVILLE – A Prudenville man was charged with possession of methamphetamine, according to a statement from the Michigan State Police.

On Friday, Jan. 26 at about 2 a.m. troopers from the Houghton Lake Post stopped a vehicle on M-18 near Hawthorne Ranch Drive in Denton Township.

The driver of the vehicle, 30-year-old Bruce Charles Neubecker Jr. of Prudenville had a warrant for his arrest out of Manistee County. During his arrest, troopers found a small
clear plastic baggie containing methamphetamine in Neubecker’s front pant pocket. Several unused syringes were also found underneath the driver seat.

Neubecker was lodged in the Roscommon County Jail.

Neubecker was arraigned in the 82nd District Court in Roscommon County for one count Possession Methamphetamine. His bond was set at $10,000 10%. His next scheduled court appearance is on Feb. 26.
