Local students making high marks

REGION- Nursing students at Saginaw Valley State University received white coats, signifying their final step toward becoming primary care family nurse practitioners.

Among the 27 students in the primary care family nurse practitioner program at Saginaw Valley State University who participated in the white coat ceremony on August 28 were:

The white coat ceremony reaffirms the science and healthcare community’s support of the educational process that prepares future health providers for practice.

Kettering University congratulates nearly 250 students who were named to the Summer 2023 Dean’s List.

Amount these students were: 

David Frye, of West Branch, is majoring in Electrical Engineering.

Sophie Waugh, of Grayling, is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Dylan White, of Lewiston, is majoring in Electrical Engineering.
