Get your license back at the free Road to Restoration clinic

REGION- The Michigan Department of State, along with the Department of Attorney General and other partners, are teaming together for a second year of assisting residents who are now eligible to have their driver’s license restored due to changes in state law. Two free Road to Restoration legal clinics are being held in Northern Michigan to help residents learn how to get their driver’s license restored.

These clinics have made a life-changing difference for many people. While walk-ins will be accepted, those who are impacted are encouraged to register ahead of time at Michigan.gov/RoadtoRestoration or by calling 211.

The dates and locations of the clinics are:

  • Aug. 10 – Michigan Works! Traverse City, 1209 S. Garfield Ave., Traverse City (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Aug. 12 – Alpena Events Complex (APlex), 701 Woodward Ave., Alpena (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
