State police recover stolen cabin

KALKASKA COUNTY, MI – Troopers from the MSP Houghton Lake Post have recovered the Up North Cabin that was reported on February 7, 2022, as stolen from County Road 571 in Cold Springs Township, Kalkaska County.

Through investigative leads and public tips, troopers located the cabin at a residence in Orange Township, Kalkaska County, on March 15, 2022. Troopers are continuing the investigation of at least two suspects believed to have participated in the theft of the cabin.

Anyone with information on the persons involved are asked to contact the MSP Houghton Lake Post at 989-422-5101.
