Ogemaw Thrift Store seeks volunteers, donations

By Melissa Howard

WEST BRANCH- Ogemaw Community Thrift Store is looking for volunteers and donations to help continue their service to the West Branch area.

Donations can be dropped off 24  hours a day. Needed items include clothes, toys, household items and anything other than furniture and large items because of limited space. Plastic grocery bags and shopping carts would also be appreciated.

Wednesday is always Senior Day with a 20 percent discount and Thursday is twenty percent off for everyone and Fridays deals are announced on Facebook.

Teachers sometimes come here to get free coats hats and gloves that are available outside the doors for free when a student goes to school without them.

Denise and Michelle would like to add that they are very grateful for the volunteers and donations, and that the West Branch community has been so wonderful. All profits go right to the community kids, everything from school projects to special Olympics.

For those interested in donating time or materials contact Denise Mueller or Michelle David 989-345-0412- or you can look up Ogemaw Community Thrift on Facebook.
