Poling Memorial Scholarship Fund at MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch are now available for the 2019-20 school year. Applicants and support documentation maybe submitted electronically or mailed directly to MidMichigan Health Foundation, MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch, 2463 South M-30, West Branch, Michigan 48661. The deadline for the 2019-20 school year is Friday, March 8, 2019.
Tolfree Scholarships invest in health and wellness by providing scholarship funding for high school, college students and those currently in the medical profession who wish to pursue or continue their careers in healthcare.
Donors to the scholarships, in keeping with the vision of John Tolfree, have created three scholarship funds to support the development of health care professionals close to home. These scholarship funds are: the Tolfree Scholarship, the Dr. George Schaiberger, Sr., Dr. Howard VanOosten and Dr. Lloyd Wiegerink Medical Staff Scholarship, as well as the Paul A. Poling Memorial Scholarship Fund. Since 2004 over $148,000 have been awarded to local students pursuing or continuing their education in healthcare from these three scholarships.
