Melissa Howard joins AuSable Media Group staff

OGEMAW COUNTY – AuSable Media Group is pleased to announce the addition of Melissa Howard to its staff as a junior reporter. Howard will be covering Northeast Michigan through: The OGEMAW, Boomers Magazine and Up North Voice, as well as UpNorthVoice.com.

A long-time Alger resident, Howard has a strong interest in English and Journalism. She is the mother of “three wonderful kids, and a proud ARMY mom. I have two beautiful daughters-in-law, and a great son-in-law to be, along with six adorable grandchildren.”

AuSable Media Group CEO Mark Constance expects Howard to excel in her new role, which will involve local sports photography, feature writing, and some news coverage.

“Melissa has been in the area for quite some time and has a great appreciation for what Northeast Michigan has to offer,” Constance said. “She’s well organized and will be a great promoter of the area.”

Howard said she wouldn’t live anywhere else except Ogemaw County.

“I love this area and the people who call it home. I appreciate the opportunity to be of service to my community through The OGEMAW and the other products of AuSable Media.
