LANSING – Area 4 Special Olympics sent two teams to the Michigan Special Olympics Poly Hockey in Lansing. The Northland Eagles finished fourth in Division 9 while the Northland Bobcats finished fourth in Division 10.
16 players from Ogemaw County made up the rosters of the team. There were a total of 63 at the event.
