Roscommon Clerk elected as 2nd Vice President of MARD

PORT HURON – The Michigan Association of Register of Deeds (MARD) recently held their 104th Annual Educational Conference in Port Huron. The conference was hosted by St. Clair County Register of Deeds/Clerk Jay DeBoyer and current MARD President, Teresa Walker, Montmorency County Register of Deeds. Registers representing 51 of Michigan’s 83 counties were in attendance for the conference.

2019 Officers were elected at the conference. Roscommon County Register/Clerk Michelle Stevenson was elected by her fellow Registers across the state as 2nd Vice President of the Michigan Association of Register of Deeds.

“We are pleased to have a 2nd Vice President of Ms. Stevenson’s caliber, experience, and professionalism to represent our association state wide. She is a wonderful addition to our leadership team. She has demonstrated her leadership and attention to detail in our association and as the Register/Clerk of Roscommon County,” said 2019 President Paul DeYoung.

The other 2019 Officers elected at the conference are President Paul DeYoung, Van Buren County Register of Deeds, 1st Vice President Stewart Sanders, Newaygo County Register of Deeds, 3rd Vice President Brandon Denby, Livingston County Register of Deeds, Treasurer Karen Jackson , Isabella County Register of Deeds, and Ann Manning-Clayton Gladwin County Register of Deeds.
