Mio adds quilt block at V.F.W.

MIO – On Sept. 4, 2018 members of the VFW hung this beautiful Quilt Block for the VFW Post 4126 in Mio.

This block was sponsored by the Meo Mio Stitchers, a group of quilters who make Quilts of Valor for local veterans.

Susan Shantz of Timberland Quilt Trail worked with the VFW & Meo Mio Stitchers to produce the patriotic design and do the painting.

This is block is #34 on the Timberland Quilt Trail and will be included in the new 2019 Trail Guide.
