Roscommon County Voice available in stores today

ROSCOMMON COUNTY – The Dec. 23 issue of the Roscommon County Voice is available on newsstands today across the county.

Copies of the paper can be found at BS Liquor, the Hen House, Family Fare in Houghton Lake and Roscommon, BP in Roscommon an Houghton Lake, and new to our list of distribution sites, Kiss Me Coffee in Prudenville, as well as dozens of other locations across the area.

Features in this issue include:

  • A preview on Tip Up Town, Northern Michigan’s longest running Winter Carnival;
  • Vickie Springstead of the Higgins Foundation being named “Person of the year” by the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners;
  • The Carlson family had a Christmas cactus donated to them in 1932. This feature by Dan Fishel tells of the travels of the plant and how it ended up with Beth Barber at Bloomer’s Flowers;
