Steve Beardsley (left) and Caleb Beardsley carry a hand-crafted cedar strip canoe out the top floor window of the AuSable River Center in Roscommon. Each year the River Center builds a canoe then raffles it off. Raffle tickets are available all summer at the River Center, Fifth Street Market in downtown Roscommon, from any ARC committee member, or by mailing orders to ARC, PO Box 363, Roscommon, MI 48653. Tickets are $5 each, 3 for $10 or 7 for $20.
