St. Helen hosted the first day of its farm market July 21 at the Community Garden at 2490 N. St. Helen Road in Richfield Township. An Ogemaw County greenhouse has agreed to anchor the market, which will be open on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sept. 10. Local vendors are encouraged to participate in the event.
