OSCODA COUNTY– After more than 17 years without proper recognition, World War II Army veteran Raymond H. “Butch” Majeski will be honored with a grave marker dedication ceremony on Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Clinton Township Cemetery.
Organized by the Oscoda County Veterans Affairs, the ceremony will include military honors, a veteran’s salute, and the playing of Taps, marking a long-overdue tribute to Majeski’s service from 1942 to 1945. The public is invited to attend and help ensure his legacy is properly remembered.
