MIO – Cool weather can’t keep a good gardener down. And the Oscoda County Soil Conservation District is ready for Spring regardless of the weather.

The Annual “Grow Show Tree Sale” is scheduled for tomorrow (May 8) at the Oscoda County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held inside one of the barns on site, nearest the front gate.

After many successful years, the event is also ‘growing’ as well, launching its first ever plant exchange. If you have excess plants or clippings and want to trade with people who also have a love of plants and gardening, bring your extras between 8:30-9 a.m. and get ready to make a deal.

The ‘Grow Show’ is scheduled for tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“After that you can stick around to pick up other plants and shop,” said Marika Christenson of Fairview.

Vendors include the Oscoda County Soil Conservation District, Mio Kirtland Warbler group, Fairview Hardware and much more.

The fairgrounds are located at 1889 Caldwell Road, off M-33 between Mio and Fairview.
