WEST BRANCH – ProMedica Hospice (formerly Heartland Hospice) is seeking volunteers in the area to help support community members who are living with a life-limiting illness.
Volunteers can give as much or as little time as they have providing their special gifts to enrich someone’s life. Our volunteers are trained according to ProMedica’s caring philosophy and goals to ensure they have the skills needed to assist patients and their families.
Volunteers can help by:
- Listening, smiling, telling jokes, playing cards, friendly visit
- Reading, providing comfort touch, playing music, singing
- Offering special veteran support to patients who are veterans
- Helping with office support
