CRAWFORD COUNTY- Sam “Del” Patterson 17-year-old son of Lori and Chad Patterson of Grayling, had his Eagle Scout Court of Honor at 3 p.m. on April 14. The event was celebrated at his Family’s Church, Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church. Sam has been in the Scouts since he was 5 years old. His first experience was with Troop 3993 Cub Scouts under Scoutmaster Toby Shambarger, and then Boy Scout Troop 979 under Scoutmaster Loren Goodale Jr. Sam has worked hard to achieve this honor, the highest rank in Scouting.
