Happy New Year to All!!!
Let’s start the new year our right, keep an eye on the Calendar, we have a lot of $5 meals and a few other things we’ve added in.
There is a fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner scheduled for the 18th, this be $7 per person, we will be having a Chinese Auction that night also, then for fun we can all sit around and play LCR. We are doing this fundraiser to raise money to replace and upgrade the lights in the Social Room, so all the support we can get will be appreciated.
I hope everyone had a good time on NYE, dinner seemed to have turned out great and I can’t thank Roxy enough for always being there when I come up with these bright ideas. We have fun things going on almost every day at the club that everyone is more than welcome to join into or just come in and visit.
Regularly scheduled events include:
- Sundays are fun with darts at 1 p.m.
- Tuesdays are Bowling at 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday is Corn Hole at 6:30 p.m.
Upcoming special events include:
- Jan. 18: Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
- Feb 2: Souper Bowl Contest, Heart shaped chocolate chip cookie sale for Valentine’s Day. We are having a Soup cook off at 5:30, anyone can bring in their best soups for super bowl. All proceeds from this will go to Cops for Kids, there will be 50/50 and raffle. So, come out and join us and bring a soup. There will be a signup sheet in the Social Room soon.
- Cookie sale for Valentine’s Day, Large Heart Shaped cookie $8 each, signup sheet available in social room, pick up date will be Feb 9-10.
A huge thank you to everyone for the past year for supporting all our functions. We are looking at replacing lights in the social room and the hall, then paint the bathrooms and add new bar stools. So again, all your support will be greatly appreciated.
Then we will be getting ready for Marathon Weekend again, so keep an eye out for what’s instore.
