Bondar lights up room with saxophone performance

GRAYLING – The Bondar legend continues.
Fourteen year old Jordan Bondar was featured on the saxophone during the most recent Third-Wednesday live music event at the AuSable Artisan Village on Michigan Avenue in downtown Grayling.
Lexi Bondar was also featured on the flute throughout the evening and Jacob Allen (Bondar) and the ‘Cookies’ is making a name in the music scene, frequently the opening act in some of the casinos in the Detroit area.
Jordan has recently released a single recording of an original song called ‘SIRI-OUSLY’. It tells a story about a teen and his relationship with his iPhone. The recording is available for listening on YouTube.
Jordan’s father, Al Bondar, has been deeply involved in the music scene for decades and currently operates a recording studio, Dharma Records, as well as being the keyboard player in ‘Jazzed Because.’ Bondar arranges the third-Wednesday concerts for the Artisan Village. This was the second appearance of this jazz group and both events drew a standing room only audience.

‘We are here to support the arts and the artists, both visual arts and performing arts. We feel it is important to pay the performers but want our community to be able to enjoy this entertainment without charge.’ Artisan Village Director Terry Dickinson said.
