ROSCOMMON- The 57th Annual Village of Roscommon Art Festival will take place Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the CRAF Center lawn in downtown Roscommon. Visitors can enjoy juried fine arts, crafts, food vendors, live music by Doug Thomas, and more during this popular community event. The festival is located behind the courthouse and is hosted by the Village of Roscommon, the DDA, and the Houghton Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce. HOUGHTON LAKE– Get ready for a weekend of great music at the 9th Annual Houghton Lake Blues Festival, July 17-18. This free outdoor event features top-notch live blues performances, along with brews, food and plenty of summer fun. Music begins at 6 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday at 1625 W. Houghton Lake Drive, behind the Chamber of Commerce in Houghton Lake. Goodwill donations are welcome to help support the festival.
ST. HELEN– The 76th Annual Saint Helen Bluegill Festival returns July 9 – 12 with family fun, contests, entertainment, and community events. Festival highlights include a Bluegill Fishing Contest, Medallion Hunt with a $300 prize, carnival rides, vendors, live music, monster truck rides, sand drags, mud bogs, tournaments, and a grand parade. Special activities for kids and families, a car and motorcycle show, and plenty of food and prizes make this a can’t-miss summer celebration in St. Helen.
GRAYLING– The AuSable Canoe Marathon brings the AuSable River Festival, rolling into downtown Grayling July 18- July 25. The event features the 40th Annual Classic Car Show on Michigan Avenue, featuring vintage vehicles, trophies, live music by Free Wheelin’ and Co., concessions, raffles, and family fun. The festival continues all week with live entertainment, great food, kids’ activities, and the popular Beer Tent located next to the AuSable Main Stage in the heart of the action. The festival promises unforgettable summer fun and community spirit in downtown Grayling.
