ROSCOMMON COUNTY — The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCCF) is now accepting applications for its 2026 Scholarship Program and Summer Enrichment Scholarships.
These awards will provide local students with meaningful financial support to pursue higher education, skilled trades, and summer enrichment opportunities.
Each year, RCCF awards scholarships made possible by generous donors who believe in investing in the future of Roscommon County students. These scholarships support students at every stage of their educational journey—from middle school enrichment programs to college, trade, and vocational training.
2026 Scholarship Applications – Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
RCCF’s general scholarship application is currently OPEN and provides access to 40 scholarship funds supporting a wide range of academic interests, career paths, and student backgrounds.
Before Applying, Students Should Know:

· Applicants should draft responses in a Word document or Google Doc before submitting

· Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 or GED score of 145

· A copy of the FAFSA Eligibility Overview is required
(FAFSA form answers should NOT be uploaded) -
· All application questions and required documents must be completed
(No exceptions) -

Scholarship opportunities include support for:

· Students pursuing college, community college, trade, technical, or vocational education.

Career paths including healthcare, education, skilled trades, athletics, arts, law, automotive, hospitality, and public service

Graduates from Roscommon High School, Houghton Lake High School, Charlton Heston Academy, and homeschool students

Students with financial need, strong academic performance, leadership, sportsmanship, and community involvement
Scholarships range from one-time awards to renewable multi-year funding, depending on the fund.
Summer Enrichment Scholarships – Application Deadline: March 17, 2026
RCCF is also accepting applications for Summer Enrichment Scholarships, designed to help students participate in athletic, music, and fine arts camps during the summer months. These opportunities allow students to build skills, confidence, and leadership outside the traditional classroom.

· Larry Sumerix Memorial – Summer Music Scholarship

· Richard & Margaret Torongo Memorial Scholarship
Roscommon Area Public Schools students (Grades 5–8) attending athletic or fine arts camps
Summer Enrichment Requirements:
