ROSCOMMON – The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center (NMCAC) is hosting a series of Expansion Tours this July to share exciting updates on its Building Campaign. These tours offer community members a firsthand look at how the center’s expansion will improve care for children and families affected by abuse across its six-county service area.
The campaign focuses on transforming a donated facility into a fully renovated, trauma-informed space—expanding from 3,700 to over 13,000 square feet. The project will allow NMCAC to provide timelier mental health services, increase privacy for families, and meet growing demand for support in Northern Michigan. A key feature of the expansion is a private medical suite where sexual assault survivors can receive immediate care and evidence collection in a safe, supportive setting.
Tour dates:
Thursday, July 10 | 9-11 a.m.
Monday, July 14 | 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 16 | 9-11 a.m.
Wednesday, July 30 | 3:30–6 p.m.
NMCAC invites local leaders, donors, and residents to attend a tour, learn more about the campaign, and discover how they can help make a lasting impact.
