Houghton Lake trooper promoted

HOUGHTON LAKE – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Houghton Lake Post is proud to announce the promotion of Jason Glombowski to sergeant.

A native of Port Huron, Sgt. Glombowski earned an associate degree in criminal justice from St. Clair County Community College. He began his MSP career in 2014 as a graduate of the 126th Trooper Recruit School. His first assignment was at the Cadillac Post. He later served with the Second District Gaming Unit in Detroit, then transferred to the Caro Post before returning to Cadillac in 2022. Most recently, he was assigned to the Traverse City Post.

Sgt. Glombowski is a department-certified drive track instructor, Field Training Officer (FTO), and Technology Liaison Officer (TLO).
