MC KINLEY – McKinley, a small community in eastern Oscoda County, was a one time one of the largest lumbering communities in Northern Michigan.
Later, it became a tourism community, with a gas station, motel and restaurant, serving hunters, fisherman, campers and canoers.
The community used to hold an event the third Thursday in August, called McKinley Fun Days. These are a few photos from the event in either 2000 or 2001.
