‘Hamming’ it up

ROSCOMMON – The Roscommon County Sheriff Department, Gerrish Township Police Department, and Michigan State Police held their first ever Hams for Easter program.

Undersheriff Ben Lowe said he was contacted Pastor Brad Williams from the First Congregational Church of Roscommon who wanted to sponsor Hams for Easter, which is similar to our Turkeys instead of tickets program.

“(We appreciate) Jim VanSice from the Walmart Houghton Lake for getting us enough hams at a great price,” Lowe said.
