Stolicker retires from MSP

GAYLORD – After 34 years of service, Captain Christopher Stolicker will be retiring from the Michigan State Police (MSP) effective April 1, 2022.

Stolicker, who started his career with the Michigan State Police in 1987 after serving in the U.S. Army, served as a trooper at the Gaylord and Mount Pleasant Posts. He was promoted to sergeant and served at the Ithaca Post from 1998 until 2001. In 2001 he was promoted to lieutenant and served as the commander of the Central Michigan Enforcement Team.

He was promoted to first lieutenant in 2004 and has served as the post commander at the Cadillac, Kalkaska, and Mount Pleasant Posts. In 2013 he was promoted to inspector and served as the assistant district commander in the Seventh District.

In 2015 Stolicker was promoted to captain and served as the commander of the MSP Special Investigation Division. He had been the commander of the Sixth District since 2019.
