COOR welcomes new board members

ROSCOMMON – The COOR (Crawford, Ogemaw, Oscoda,Roscommon board has welcomed two appointed members.

Joining the board are former Mio-AuSable Schools Administrator Jim Gendernalik, and Brie Molaison, a graduate of Grayling High School, and current Grievance and Appeals Coordinator at Northern Lakes Community Mental Health.

COOR serves six local public school districts serving about 7,500 students including: Crawford-AuSable SchoolsMio AuSable SchoolsFairview Area SchoolsHoughton Lake Community SchoolsRoscommon Area Public Schools and West Branch-Rose City Schools ; and two Public School Academies, the Charlton Heston Academy and the Alternative Educational Academy of Ogemaw County

Regular meetings of the board are held at 6 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the C.O.O.R. ISD Central Office, located at located at 11051 N. Cut Road in Roscommon, and at COORISD.net.
