Gladwin to host prom for ‘Trail of two cities’

GLADWIN COUNTY – Dust off your dancing shoes and tidy up your suits! The Gladwin County Trails Recreation Authority is sponsoring the 2022 Adult Prom fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 7-11 p.m. at Riverwalk Place in Gladwin.

This fun event will feature DJ Jeff Willford, heavy hor-doeuvers, a cash bar and a photo booth to create a lasting souvenir. Formal wear is suggested and encouraged.

Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance by Feb. 5; there will be no sales at the door. Guest must be 21 years of age. Tickets are $60 each and available at Village Flowers, Lyles Flowers and Riverwalk Place in Gladwin, and Flower Scents in Beaverton.

Tickets would make a nice Christmas gift and give an event to look forward to this winter!

All proceeds from the 2022 Adult Prom will go directly to extending the current Trail (A Trail of Two Cities) from Gladwin to Beaverton. This will connect the cities with a multi use trail available to everyone for walking, running, biking, skiing and snowshoeing along the Cedar River with access to kayak/canoe launches. All of which can be used year around for free!

Bring your friends, family and co-workers! Singles are welcome! When February sets in you’ll be glad to have tickets for a fun night out!
