We are pleased to announce that the We Care Shop in St. Helen has been awarded the sixth #CommunityChoice grant.
The We Care Shop was nominated by the community and received the most “likes” resulting in a $1,000.00 grant funded by the Ambassador Club Fund. This grant helped purchase and provide everyday necessities to their personal care pantry.
We are happy to announce that Roscommon Area Public Schools has received a grant of $1,000.00 for new cross country ski team uniforms and entrance fees. Funding for the project was provided by the Gerrish-Higgins Educational Fund and the Linda Chwan & Ken DePerro Memorial Fund. This grant allowed the team to buy 5 new uniforms for the anticipated growth of the team as well as pay for student entry fees for their upcoming races.
