CELEBRATION OF LIFE AND 75 YEARS ANNIVERSARY OF OUR LADY OF THE LAKE PARISH
HOUGHTON LAKE – Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Parish, along with Saint James in Houghton Lake, Saint Hubert in Higgins Lake, and Our Lady of the Lake in Prudenville, held a Celebration of Life event honoring our parishioners that are 75 years of age or older, and also in recognition of Our Lady of the Lake Parish’s 75th anniversary.
More than 200 people attend the event, which took place in the school gymnasium at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Catholic School.
The crowd was “blessed to have Bishop Steven Raica join us in the celebration. We started our evening festivities with a prayer service at 5:00 pm, and then we were off to the Gymnasium for music, plate served dinner and home made cupcakes,” the church said in a written statement..
