Kirtland club headed to Pond Hill Farm

HARBOR SPRING – The Kirtland Garden Club will carpool to Pond Hill Farm, a multigenerational, agricultural tourism destination, just north of Harbor Springs, on June 17. Pond Hill Farm is home to 200 acres of food and fun that includes a cafe, a brewery, a winery and a farm store with produce and products grown on the farm, such as jams and sauces. Family owned, and now in its third generation of Spencers, the farm also caters to family outings with petting animals for children plus many seasonal and holiday activities.

This trip is offered to Kirtland Garden Club members and their guests, as well as the public and prospective members. Questions and RSVP to Nancy at 422-6017. The June business meeting will follow lunch at the Pond Hill Farm Cafe, to gear up for their annual Garden Tour, on June 29th and Plant Sale on July 13th at the Roscommon Arts Festival, on the lawn of the CRAF Center.

The Kirtland Garden Club meets monthly throughout the year on third Mondays to hear speakers on gardening topics, work on community beautification projects and take planned trips.
