HOUGHTON LAKE – The Kirtland Garden Club is scheduled to meet Feb. 18 at noon at the Houghton Lake Library in Prudenville.
Sarah Rautio, MSU Consumer Horticulture Educator, will speak on garden design on a recent European trip. The presentation begins in Windsor, UK, some rural areas in France to include Monet’s Gardens in Giverny, Les Jardins du Boisdes Moutiers, Normany, plus two French chateaus. The tour ends on the Island of Malta. The concept behind the presentation is to encourage people to think about their gardens differently.
