United Way shares community impact

HOUGHTON LAKE – Friends and supporters of Roscommon County United Way (RCUW) gathered to share breakfast and learn of the work of the United Way and the work accomplished by the agencies who receive funds from the United Way. Each agency in attendance shared how funds helped them serve the local community. Eight hundred and sixty dollars were raised from donations and the sale of raffle tickets. Dollars raised are used to help fund the local nonprofit agencies

In 2018 twenty local nonprofits received funding from United Way. All funding is made possible through gifts from local businesses, corporations and individuals donated during the annual United Way Campaign. Please consider making a gift at rocommoncountyunitedway.org or mail your donation to Roscommon County United Way, P.O. Box 1003, Houghton Lake, 48629.

The Roscommon County United Way’s mission is to improve lives by harnessing the caring power of our community. For more information or to donate go to www.roscommoncountyunitedway.org
