New Years Resolution 2023

I was enjoying a refreshing nap in my “Comfy Chair” as I resumed time in the moment, awakening to the living world. I felt refreshed and ready to take on the rest of my day! I realized that the glory of Christmas Day had passed. Our lives are marked with Holidays throughout the year. Holidays give us something to look forward to, like birthdays, seasons, and day & night!

The think tank geniuses are now promoting the concept that time does not exist. They state that time is an illusion and that past, present, and future exist simultaneously. While it is an exciting concept, it exists at a higher level of existence. For the average human being, we exist in the moment. We look to the past, find memories, and look to the future, hoping for brighter events to touch our lives. While time might be an illusion, mankind has marked every micro-second with a measurement. The “Atomic Clock” out of Denver measures time using the NIST-F1 Cesium fountain Atomic Clock. It measures a fountain of atoms. That means that it may lose or gain less than one second in more than 100 million years!

Again, for the average human being, time has been parsed and controls our lives. We set the alarm to a specific time to get up in the morning. For many, we need to be at work at a specific time, take breaks, have lunch, have to work until the time our workday ends. For many, they work beyond the regular 8 hours day! The geniuses state that time is an illusion. As we age, our bodies change, look different, and act differently. For some, diseases, or the ability of our cells to replicate, gets fuzzy, and we age.

New Year’s Eve 2023 is the next Holiday we celebrate after Christmas. Tradition is that we make New Year’s resolutions for the coming year. Gain weight, lose weight, exercise, be kinder to other people. The resolutions come in many sizes and shapes. For this year, 2023, I am going to listen to the geniuses and not make a resolution; after all, I have made them in the past, and they exist to this day! Awesome, I do not have to feel bad after I do not stick to my resolution this year! Happy New Year, Everyone!
