TAWAS CITY – MyMichigan Medical Center in Tawas is proud to announce the addition, of Dr. Stacey Stefansky, D.P.M.
Stefansky is a board-certified podiatrist with over 25 years of experience and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Stefansky specializes in diabetic care, wound care, limb salvage, and both primary podiatric medicine and surgery. Her patient-centered philosophy emphasizes personalized care, using the latest technology and treatment methods to ensure the best outcomes.
Stefansky provides wound care services through MyMichigan on Tuesday mornings at 200 Hemlock Road in Tawas City. She has also opened a general podiatry practice in the Medical Arts Building at 295 Maple Street, Suite 201, in Tawas City.
Whether providing preventive care, diagnosis, or advanced surgical treatment, Dr. Stefansky takes the time to educate her patients on all available options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their foot and ankle health.
Originally from Southeast Michigan, Stefansky earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Michigan State University and completed her podiatric medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
She went on to complete a three-year surgical residency at the Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. After practicing in Florida, she returned to Michigan, where she has held leadership roles in podiatric surgery and education.
In Tawas City, Dr. Stefansky provides specialized care at the MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas Medical Arts Center and the Wound Care Center, offering expert treatment for chronic and non-healing wounds.
