HALE – The Northeastern Michigan Board of Realtors is sponsoring a public shred event on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. (or earlier if the truck fills up). The event will take place in the parking lot of the CA Hanes Realty office in Hale.
There is no charge to participate, but there is a limit of four boxes per person (standard size: 10x12x16).
Items that can be shredded:
- White and colored paper
- File folders
- Staples and paper clips
- Catalogs
- Phone books
Items that cannot be shredded:
- Hazardous materials
- Metal objects (plates, nuts, bolts)
- Three-ring binders
- Wood or glass
- Hardcover books
- Greeting cards with sound (batteries)
- Brown paper bags
